Mission Statement:
Sedgwick County Farm Bureau Agricultural Association's
mission is to help members identify their needs and provide services and programs to meet those needs. SCFBAA will work
for the success of the farm community which we serve. We will broaden our base by being pro-active in community participation
which enhances all phases of farm life.
Aspirations:
- Look at new avenues to expand and grow
our membership base.
- Increase visibility of SCFBAA in the urban areas.
- Educate county membership on SCFBAA'S
services and benefits.
- Work towards getting the younger generation more involved in SCFBAA.
We want our
association to be one our people are proud of and committed to; where our members have an opportunity to contribute, learn,
grow and achieve success in the business of farming. We want our members to feel respected, treated fairly, listened
to and involved in county activities and decisions. Above all, SCFBAA wants members to feel satisfaction from accomplishments
and friendships with balance of personal and professional lives and to have fun in our endeavors.
To describe the
SCFBAA we want in the future; we want to build on the foundation we have inherited, affirming the best of our farm traditions,
closing gaps that may exist between principles and practices and updating some of our farm values to reflect urban circumstances.
